摘要
自全国高校英语专业四级考试实施以来,听写一直是该考试的一个项目,主要考查考生的接受性(听)与产出性(写)结合的语言能力。本文首先探讨考生完成听写任务所涉及的认知过程,基于认知能力模型对考生在2013年英语专业四级考试听写项目中的错误进行归类分析,以期对改进英语专业教学提出一些有价值的建议。
Dictation is adopted as an integrative test task in Test for English Majors Grade 4 (TEM4) to assess test- takers' listening skills. The present paper first explores the cognitive process in test-takers' dictation performance and then analyzes test-takers' errors in dictation from the dimensions of cognitive processing and linguistic competence. The paper concludes by tentatively offering suggestions on how to tackle difficulties and obstacles impeding test-takers' dictation performance, and how to improve dictation performance in classroom teaching.
