陆在易现象 1995年8月,京沪闽音乐创作研讨会在厦门鼓浪屿举行.作曲家陆在易在会上介绍了他的音乐抒情诗《中国,我可爱的母亲》,受到了与会者们一致的好评.笔者对为人温文尔雅、淡定低调的陆在易写出如此真挚深情、动人心魄的音乐感到震惊,当场谈了一些听后感.未料不久（8月15日）便收到作曲家的来信.信中写道：＂完全没有想到,在放音设备不对路,基本未出效果的情况下,您对我的作品会有这样深的理解,真令人感动……＂其实是作曲家的音乐令人感动而难忘.也从此引起笔者对陆在易音乐创作的关注.

On September 5, 2013, the Concert of Works by Lu Zaiyi entitled ″China, My Beloved Mother″ which was held at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing under the baton of famous conductor Chen Xieyang, turned out to ge a great success.Ms Zhang Xian, former editor-in-chief of the magazine People's Music commended the concert, saying that ″ it was fantastic!Especially the choral symphonic works....Musical works with such high level and such depth are just rare in today's Chinese music circle!The excitement was so overwhelming to me!″ Mr.Wang Zujie, President of China Opera Research S ociety, more than excited after listening to the concert, said that ″ 'China, My Beloved Mother' was striking dramatically, epically and lyrically, both touching and charming , and s hould be cons idered as a crowning work among today's choral symphony compositions. Prof. Stanislav Kalinin, Dean of the Conducting Department of Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music in Moscow, shed tears on his face when listening to the concert there, and met the composer twice on the occasion, proposing that the work should not only be performed in China, but also in Russia and in the rest of the whole world.In the Postscript to The Collection of Choral Works by Lu Zaiyi,the composer remarks :″My appreciation and my deepest respect go to our predecessors,who as great musicians have made outstanding contributions to the art of chorus, such as Zhao Yuanren, Huang Zi,Xian Xinghai,He Luting and Qu Xixian.It is only with the legacy of these composers that I could start my artistic career by learning from their works.Moreover, I have learned from them the right attitudes towards music composition and have seen the power of personality that a composer should possess, the latter being something I can learn and practice for the rest of my life.In this sense, I will always be a student of them,following and learning with all my efforts.″Lu Zaiyi's great mind and aspirations as a composer have embodied the Chinese artists'long-cherished cultural values of ″culture for moral ins truction″ and the means of inheriting and representing civilizations by ″ educating the people with culture and arts.″The composer himself interpreted his aesthetic thoughts at the Changsha Chorus S ummit Forum in 2007 as such: ″The most important element in the art of chorus is harmony.″ He is also an active advocate of the composing principle which refers to ″ strengthening national thinking, contemporary thinking, multi -dimensional thinking and chorus -oriented thinking.″ Lu Zaiyi has been following his own aspirations and,by creating a s eries of outs tanding choral works , he has realized his ideal of art, and in this way, he becomes the best successor of such great pioneers as Xian Xinghai and Huang Zi.The publication of The Collection of Choral Works by Lu Zaiyi (Orchestral S cores) is the most fruitful artistic achievement in the field of Chines e chorus since thepublication of Xian Xinghai's Yellow River Cantata (1933).This has also made him the leader in the art of Chinese choral music composition, an honour that he truly deserves.
