摘要
Guze等于1970年的研究错误地引导了人们认为抑郁症是自杀的元凶,从而引发了40多年的热烈争论。最近有两项重要的研究,给人类认识自杀的元凶带来了一些启示。研究发现:自杀是"无法满足的人际需求"所导致的,从而解释了并非所有抑郁症等精神障碍患者都寻求自杀的原因;自杀能力是自杀成功的重要因素,由此也解释了自杀意念与自杀行为的区别。当以上两个因素同时存在时,自杀率会明显升高。这两项研究证实,自杀是一个独立的心理过程。
Guze et al. （1970） put forward a mistaken opinion that depression was the culprit of suicide, which triggered a heated debate over the past 40 years. Recently, there are two important researches that deepen the understanding on the culprit of suicide. The researches found that suicide was resulted by unmet interpersonal needs and explained why not all individuals with mental disorders would suicide, It was also revealed that available capability of suicide was also an important factor contributing to suicide and made a distinction between suicide ideation and suicide behaviors. The above two factors are the main causes of suicide. In a word, suicide has its independent psychological process.
