摘要
骨关节病是导致中老年人慢性残疾最常见的原因之一,其病因和病理机制目前尚不明确。颞下颌关节骨关节病是一种能够累及整个颞下颌关节组织,导致患者口颌功能障碍及严重疼痛的慢性退行性疾病。近年来,衰老在骨关节病发生发展中的作用越来越受到重视。本文主要就衰老对颞下颌关节软骨细胞及软骨基质影响的研究进展做一概述,供研究参考。
Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common cause of chronic disability in elder adults. The etiopathogenesis and pathomechanism of OA are still unclear. Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) OA is a degenerative disease involving all TMJ tissues and leads to functional deranged and severe pain. Recently, it was reported that aging is closely connected with the development and progression of OA. This lecture focused on potential mechanisms by which age-related changes in the chondrocytes and cartilage matrix of TMJ may contribute to the development and progression of OA.
