This paper introduces the definition and functions of RFID technology,briefly expounds the current application of RFID technology in domestic and foreign libraries,and taking Hunan Library as an example,makes a detailed description of the basic situation,hardware and software configuration,service benefit,and existing problems of the 24-hour self-service in Hunan Library for providing some references for the study and promotion of library＇s 24-hour selfservices.
