With the rapid development of the knoweldge economy and networks technology,university library＇s service for readers is facing the new chances and challenges.This paper illustrates the importance of the service for readers,analyzes the present situation of university library＇s service for readers at this stage,and puts forward some strategies for the innovation of the service for readers.
