The application of pre-stressed pipe pile in tied arch bridge box gird- er support foundation in soft soil area was described. The construction process flow and the operation points of the tied arch bridge box girder support and foundation in soft soil area and the obtained benefits were introduced in detail. Practice shows that, during the construction of the support and foundation, pre-stressed pipe pile has been used to replace the cast-in-situ bored pile or steel pipe pile with quick construction speed, no slurry pollution, lower cost and remarkable economic and social benefits.
