As one of Toni Morrison's historical triology, Paradise impresses readers with its epic-like displaying of black people's experiences. In this novel, Morrison not only expresses her deep concern for the group, but also exposes problems in its development. This article, by exposing the problems brought by patriarchy, exhibits the power struggle of women and young generation against patriarchy through rewriting history and achieving a new form of subjectization.
