摘要
2004年玉溪遗址北部五个探方发掘的新石器遗存,其文化内涵包含了玉溪下层文化、玉溪上层文化、玉溪坪文化三个阶段,以玉溪下层文化遗存堆积最为深厚,出土遗物最为丰富,为重庆地区新石器时代偏早阶段的考古学文化面貌的了解,增添了十分重要的新资料。
Neolithic remains excavated from the five excavation-squares in the northern part of the Yuxi site in 2004 represents three cultural manifestations, the Lower Yuxi Culture, the Upper Yuxi Culture, and the Yuxiping Culture. Amonst the three cultures, remains of the Lower Yuxi Culture is the most abundant. The excavation at the Yuxi site offers significant new materials for studying archaeological materials of early Neolithic time in the Chongqing area.
