贸易引力模型思想下的国际学生流动

International Student Mobility: An Empirical Analysis from Trade Gravity Model and its Inspiration

当前,全球国际学生的流动规模日益扩大,增长趋势日益明显,受到多方关注。影响国际学生流动的因素很多,本文对地缘因素、历史关系、贸易联系、经济繁荣度、教育发展程度、对外连接紧密度、科技发展、人文因子八类因素进行了量化,之后借鉴引力模型思想,运用多元线性回归方法,建立了三个分析模型来分析其对学生流动的影响。此外,双边货物贸易对国际学生流动具有促进作用而两国经济对其的影响并不显著。

The scale of international student mobility is growing fast, which is evident and has received much attention. The international student mobility has been influenced by many factors. This paper has quantified the factors of geographic factors, historical and cultural ties, trade links between two countries, as well as economy, education, external connection, technology and humanities characteristics of the countries, then base on the idea of gravity model multiple linear regression method is used to set up three analytical models. It has found that, not only the geographic factors but also the historical and cultural ties affect student mobility scale significantly; education, external connection, technology and humanities characteristics of destination country are important; trade links between the two countries affect significantly but the economic factors do not have the same effect.
