Application of 3D Level Meter in Big Silo Level Measurement

聚酯装置PTA料仓的料位对于产品的质量控制和生产平衡起着非常重要的作用。由于PTA粉料具有特殊物理特性以及料仓过大等原因,料仓料位的测量一直是聚酯装置的难点。针对现有聚酯装置PTA粉末料仓料位测量的局限性和历史经验,提出了利用3D料位计测量料位的方法。介绍了三维平面扫描仪(3D料位计)的测量原理、应用特点,详述了调试、安装过程中遇到的问题和解决方法以及投用后取得的效果。

The material level of PTA bin plays a very important role in PET plant for the quality and balance control of the products.Due to the fact that PTA powder has special physical characteristics and the bin is too large,measuring the level of PTA bin is always being difficult.In view of existing limitation and historical experience of measurement of PTA bin level in PET plant,a new method of measuring the material level by 3D level meter is proposed.The measuring principle and application features of 3D level scanner（3D level meter）are introduced.Solutions to the problems met in the process of debugging and installation,and the effect after it is put into use are discussed in detail.
