摘要
"人类基因组计划"这个具有划时代意义的大科学计划已经完成10年了。10年来,基因组科学的发展形成了新的目标——精准医学。未来的生物医学基础和临床科学的发展就是要整合基因组生物学新前沿,运用新的概念和技术,不断积累临床资源,凝练大科学问题,规划和启动大科学项目,及时、有效地为全社会提供"从实验室到病床"、"从实验室到家庭和个人"的卫生与健康保障。
Ten years after the Human Genome Project, genomics has now heading toward biology and medicine, making both more detailed down to individual genes and more precise at single cell levels. In the new paradigm, knowledge of biology and medicine has to be acquired in a divide-and-conquer approach and managed in different tracks but synthesized and networked together ultimately. Large organized scientific projects are needed to bring together research forces from both basic and clinical research fields to solve key scientific issues, and to bring in new technology and security for future healthcare.
