It is much more difficult to operate horizontal position welding technology, which may be affected by various kinds of factors. Welding defects could not be completely avoided and always exist in the real welded structures. The effective detec- tion methods are analyzed, and the grade evaluation is conducled according to the industrial standard to ensure the quality of the products.
