Proof for That Zhuge Xuan Died in Xicheng

陈寿的《三国志》关于诸葛玄的记载太简略了,袁晔的《献帝春秋》中关于诸葛玄的记载不但与《三国志》不矛盾,而且还能对其进行一些细节上的补充。诸葛玄任豫章太守确实是袁术所任命的,汉献帝兴平二年(195年)诸葛玄在背弃袁术归依刘表后,派人护送诸葛亮等侄子侄女到达荆州,而自己仍留在西城。

Records about Zhuge Xuan in The History of the Three Kingdoms by Chen Shou were too brief, and the records about Zhuge Xuan in Xiandi Chunqiu by Yuan Ye gave some detailed supplements. As a matter of fact, Zhuge Xuan was appointed as prefecture chief by Yuan Shu in Yuzhang, however, he betrayed Yuan Shu and paid allegiance to Liu Biao in 195, and sent someone to escort Zhuge Liang and his brothers and sisters to Jing Zhou, leaving him by himself in Xi Cheng.
