This paper expounds the origin of the ＂microlecture＂, and makes a comparison with ＂microteaching＂. This paper analyses the metaphorization of different education thoughts behind different ＂microlecture＂ production method. Microleeture, based on the teaching contents formed be a constructivist method for the purpose of online learning or mobile learning, provides a solid foundation for us to build a learning society based on the concept of lifelong learning. With the popularity of next generation Internet and mobile net- work technology, video reengineering education, the era of mass education is coming.
