This paper introduced the development process and present situation of moulded ease circuit breaker（MCCB） for ships in American standard MIL-C-17361.MCCB for naval ships has the advantages of high generalization,better succession,complete attachments,installing and replacing conveniently,and the protective action multiple is larger and larger.These characteristics represent the development trends of MCCB,it ean provide references for developing MCCB in China.
