Recently, the novel low-temperature and high-perfor-mance catalyst for methanol synthesis jointly developed by the Datang Chemical Research Institute and the Xia- men University has passed the commercial sideline ac- ceptance test. The expert group has unanimously admitted that this methanol synthesis catalyst has superior perfor-mance in terms of its low-temperature activity, thermal stability, selectivity and resistance against process condi-tion fluctuations, with its overall performance in the com-mercial sideline operation meeting the expected results.
