新加坡特选中学的双语教育及其历史经验

Bilingual Education and Its Historical Experience in SAP Secondary Schools in Singapore

新加坡素以双语教育的发达闻名于世,特选中学是实施双语教育的中间机构。特选中学成立30多年来,肩负着为新加坡培养双语人才和传承华族传统文化的重要使命,其发展大致经历了四个阶段,在实施过程中形成了双语并重、生态平衡的教育模式和特点。研究其双语教育的实施状况,总结其历史经验对我国双语教育的发展具有十分重要的借鉴意义。

Singapore is famous for its bilingual education, and Special Assistance Plan （SAP）schools are the core force to carry it out. The missions of SAP schools are to nurture bilingual and bicultural citizens and transmit Chinese tradition and culture. Since 30 years ago, the SAP schools have undergone four developmental stages, and featured equally emphasizing Chinese and English, and balanced educational pattern. Probing into its historical context and its experience may give us inspirations for developing bilingual education in China.
