"忠实"这个中国译论的关键词源于中国传统儒家文化"忠"的原则,一切翻译讨论与翻译思想都离不开"忠实"这一概念;西方翻译中的"对等"概念与西方自由平等思想同步形成。"对等"概念颠覆了原文至上的原则,导致了西方译论多元化局面。

Faithfulness, the key word in traditional Chinese translation theory, is deeply rooted in Chinese Confucius culture. All Chinese translation theories, including the discussions on translation, are centered on this concept. Equivalence, on the other hand, is a twin concept of the western democratic spirit. This concept challenged the superiority of source text in translation, and resulted in the multi-- orientation of translation theories in the west.
