徐宿淮盐城际铁路建设必要性分析

Analysis of the Necessity of Xuzhou-Suqian-Huai'an-Yancheng Intercity Railway Construction

徐州、宿迁、淮安、盐城4市位于江苏北部地区,4市人口众多但经济较苏南地区相对落后,低于江苏省平均水平。目前,4市境内铁路网稀疏,既有新长铁路等级较低,不能满足沿线城市日益增长的客运出行需求。为促进苏北地区经济发展,实现苏北地区对外的快速沟通交流,规划建设徐宿淮盐城际铁路。为使该铁路规划顺利实施,应从区域经济现状及规划、区域客货运需求、区域铁路运输通道分工及客运量预测等方面分析徐宿淮盐铁路在区域经济发展及在路网中所起到的作用,论证该铁路建设的必要性。

Xuzhou, Suqian, Huai＇ an, Yancheng, located in the north Jiangsu, they have a large population but relatively backward economy compared with the areas of southern Jiangsu, below the average level of Jiangsu province. At present, the scarcity of rail network within the territory and the existing lower level Xinchang railway can ＇ t meet the demand of pas- sengers transportation along the city＇ s development. In order to promote economic development in north Jiangsu and to a- chieve efficient communication with outside, Xuzhou-Suqian-Huai＇ an-Yancheng intercity railway is under planning. To en- sure a smooth implementation of the railway planning, the role and necessity of the railway in regional economic develop-ment and railway network shall be analyzed and discussed from the current situation and planning of regional economy, re-gional passenger and freight demand, regional division of railway transportation channel and passenger traffic forecast.
