科特迪瓦铁路将为克勒豪耶矿区铁矿石外运提供可靠的交通运输保障,并有利于促进克勒豪耶矿区以及圣佩德罗港口的开发。根据科特迪瓦本地区的地形条件和重要控制因素,针对吉格洛水库的位置分别研究了穿水库方案和绕避水库方案。经综合分析研究,选出最合理可行的线路方案。

According to Cōte d＇ Ivoire topographical conditions of the region and major controlling factors, in view of the location of the Guiglo reservoir, research is carried out on route across the reservoir scheme and route bypassing the reservoir scheme. Comprehensive analysis is made to select the most reasonable and feasible route scheme.
