Catalytic Action of Ln(η~6-C_6H_6)(AlCl_4)_3 in Alkylation of Benzene

研究了中性芳烃稀土配合物Ln(η6 C6 H6 ) (AlCl4) 3(Ln =La ,Nd)对苯烷基化反应的催化作用。Ln(η6 C6 H6 ) (AlCl4) 3 可在温和条件下催化苯与己烯反应给出正己基苯和仲己基苯。探讨了不同催化剂及反应条件对此反应的影响。

The alkylation of benzene with hexene 1 which gives n hexylbenzene and sec hexylbenzene was achieved under mild conditions by use of neutral π arene complex of lanthanide Ln(η 6 C 6H 6)(AlCl 4) 3. The effect of Ln(η 6 C 6H 6)(AlCl 4) 3 and reaction conditions on the alkylation reaction was studied.
