服务化趋势下的大城市制造业发展是个重要问题。在服务业主导的产业结构中,国际大城市制造业或向都市工业发展,或向高新技术产业发展,占据全球相关产业的制高点。以此为鉴,从现有产业基础来看,中国大城市制造业发展方向将是高新技术产业。中国大城市之于制造业,不应只看到其比重下降的一面,而更应看到制造业制高点的竞争才是关键所在。

In the service -oriented industrial structure, manufacturing sector in major cities have differentiated into metropolis industries, or advanced to high-tech industries and occupied the high ground of the global industry. From this point of view and con- sidering the sustainability of the city development, selecting the high-tech industries as the developmen- tal direction is the first choice. The major cities of China should not regret its manufacturing industry share decline in nationwide scale, but be more opti- mistic on having advantages in the coming high-tech in- dustry competition.
