存在主义视角下的小说《雅各的房间》

小说《雅各的房间》以主人公雅各为中心,对十几个人物的生存状态进行了或繁或简的描写。本文从存在主义主要哲学观点关注具体的存在和本真、非本真的角度分析小说中人物的存在状态。作者伍尔夫通过描写小说中人物对生活瞬间的感触、对生命意义的思索,体现了其创作精神中与存在主义主题不谋而合之处;对几个人物的本真与非本真的生存状态也刻画得入木三分。

In the novel Jacob＇ s Room, Virginia Woolf has described the existential state of several characters in detail. The author plans to analyze the existential state from the angle of existentialist theory by applying the existentialist con- cepts of focusing on the concrete existence and authenticity ＆ inauthenticity proposed by Heidegger, an existentialist thinker. In the novel, Woolf has shown her caring to the concrete existential state of the characters by describing how sensible they may be to the moments of life and the meaning of life which is also the core of existentialist theory at the same time. And Woolf has also shown the authenticity and inauthenficity in some characters＇ life.
