Carbon fiber composites have been widely used in the automotive industry because of their high specific strength, high specific modulus, light weight, good fatigue resistance and anti-vi- bration performance and so on. The performance characteristics of carbon fiber composite and its appli- cation in automobile industry are illustrated. Meanwhile the development process and application exam- ples are introduced.
