Synthesis of a New Schiff's Base and The Application Ⅰ.Extraction-Spectrophotometric Determination of Zinc

本文研究了由茚三酮和邻邻氨基酚合成Schiff碱的条件,及其在萃取光度法中测定微量锌的应用。

A new schiff＇s base, 1, 2, 3-indanctrione mono-(o-aminophenol)(ITMA), has been prepared and characterized by clemcntal analysis, IR and UV. A simple, sensitivc extrac tion-spectrophotomctric method for the determination of zinc using ITMA has been devc-loped. ITMA reacts with zinc to form blue-green complex which is extracted with chloro-form. Beer＇s law was obeyed in the range of 0～50μg/25 ml for zine, its molar absor-ptivity was 4.7×10~4 L. mol^(-1).cm^(-1) at 629 nm.
