摘要
研究显示,FAST TCP在高速长延迟网络中的性能优于其他传输控制协议。通过分析和提升FAST TCP在大带宽延迟网络中的瞬时行为。为FAST TCP提出了一个新的慢启动机制,仿真显示FAST TCP连接的响应性、吞吐率和公平性显著提高。
Research has shown that FAST TCP performs better than other transport control protocols in high-speed long-latency networks. We analyze and improve the transient behavior of FAST TCP in large "bandwidth-delay product" networks. With proposing a new slow-start mechamsm for FAST TCP, simulations show that the startup performance of FAST TCP improves significantly in terms of not only responsiveness but also throughput and fairness among connections.
