摘要
国学家陈柱长期从事教育事业,读书栽人。文章利用他的部分著作、文章和前人的一些研究成果,对他的教育观进行了论证分析。陈柱认为教育主要是为了社会稳定和国家发展,这就需要既要向西方学习设立新学科,又不能丢弃传统经典文献教育,更不能盲从西方。同时,他鼓励师生思考,反对教条教育。并提议广修图书馆,提升国民素质等。
Chen Zhu, an expert in Chinese national culture, had long been engaged in education, reading and educating people. Making use of some of his books, articles, and some previous research results, the paper analyzes Chen Zhu's outlook on education. Chen Zhu believed that education was mainly to serve the socialstability and nationa! development, which required the establishment of new subjects, and he also believed that they could neither discard the traditional classical education nor blindly follow the West. Meanwhile, he encouraged teachers and students to think and opposed the dogmatic education. And he proposed the estab- li3hment of libraries and improving the quality of the people.
