从修辞学角度上看,幽默是一种语言修辞现象,而其在实现方式上与语音隐喻有着多方面的共同点。从认知语言学的角度上看,语音隐喻是一种认知现象,其功能之一是要获得幽默。由此可见,语音隐喻与幽默是相互兼容,相互支持的。
Seen from the aesthetic aspect, humor is a kind of figure of speech that shares something common with phonetic metaphor. Seen from the angle of cognitive linguistics, phonetic metaphor is a cognitiveprocess, which functions as a method to show humor. Thus, it is safe to say that there is a compatible and supportive relationship holding between humor and phonetic metaphor.
