浅谈英汉语篇衔接手段对比——以鲁迅《祝福》及杨宪益所译文本为例

On the Comparison of Cohesive Devices between English and Chinese Texts——A case study of Lu Xun's The New Year's Sacrifice

以韩礼德和哈桑的语篇衔接理论为依据,以鲁迅作品《祝福》及杨宪益所译英文文本The new year's sacrifice为语料,通过对比分析英汉语中的语篇衔接手段,揭示英汉语篇在衔接上体现出的各自特点,旨在使读者更好地了解英汉语篇衔接手段之间的差异,从而提高翻译质量。

Based on cohesion theory promoted by Halliday and Hasan and taking Lu Xun＇s The New Year＇s Sacrifice and the English version translated by Yan Xianyi for language materials, this paper tries to conduct a contrastive study and reveal the respective characteristics of cohesion devices, with a view to helping the readers have a better understanding of the differences between Chinese and English cohesion and improve their translation quality.
