陇东皮影精湛的表演技巧、高亢优美的唱腔,都有赖于雕刻精细、造型优美、着色丰富的影件作品来展现,看似简单的影件,制作工艺却十分繁杂,制作一件影件至少需要七、八道工序才能完成,皮影艺人在传承传统技艺的同时结合地域特征、民俗风情积极创新,通过精选皮料、构思图谱、精于雕刻、用心绘色,制作出生动传神、精美绝伦的影件作品。

Simple as shadow works are, singing, depends much on fine the production process is very complex. It needs at least seven or eight steps in the procedure of making one single shadow part.
