公共图书馆在以服务为理念的今天,引入志愿者服务已经成为一种模式和趋势。论文通过对美国洛杉矶郡公共图书馆的志愿者服务管理分析,介绍该馆在志愿者招募、志愿者定位和培训、志愿者责任义务以及志愿者工作方面的方式和特点,给我国公共图书馆在志愿者服务方面许多深刻的启示,希望我国公共图书馆能够借鉴和学习,吸引更多的社会力量参与图书馆建设,最大程度发挥图书馆的社会效能。

Today Public Libraries with the concept of service, the introduction of volunteer service has become a model and trends. Through the Los Angeles County Public Library volunteer service management analysis, this paper introduces the manner and volunteer work characteristics of that library in volunteer recruitment, orientation and training of volunteers, volunteer responsibilities and obligations, hop- ing to provide China＇s public library volunteer services many profound revelations. It also hopes our public libraries can learn from them, attract more social forces to participate in library construction, maximize the library＇s social performance.
