洞塘水库枢纽工程设计坝高４６ｍ，为沥青混凝土心墙石渣坝，心墙厚度为０．５ｍ。文中介绍了施工过程中的原材料质量、拌合摊铺质量控制及其摊铺后的沥青混凝土质量检测等；目前水库已竣工蓄水至设计库水位，大坝运行正常。
