文章论述了21世纪初十多年我国图书馆学研究的三个阶段,三个阶段的特征是:第一阶段以理论图书馆学研究为主,在图书馆学研究对象和图书馆学研究层次化领域出现了重要的成果;第二个阶段以应用图书馆学为重点;第三个阶段以总结、梳理为重点。

In the new century the study of library science in China experienced three stages： the first is mainly on theory and important achievements were about the objects of the science and the study fields were stratified; the second is mainly on the application of the theories; and the third is mainly the summarization.
