This paper carries out the monographic study on the sharp fracture defect of SWRCH22A wire rod appeared in use. By analyzing the sharp fracture morphology and characteristics finding the causing of sharp fracture, and by opposing the measures and methods of eliminating the defect, this paper can show the way of how to reduce the incidence of sharp fracture.
