摘要
清华大学在我国高等教育发展史上具有独特的地位,历任校长坚持全人格教育的办学方针,大力推进通识教育,为中国学术独立和民族中兴发挥了巨大的作用。研究清华通识教育的传统对目前我国大学的发展具有重要的借鉴意义。大学校长的办学理念应该与大学精神相耦合,应当坚持以通识教育为载体,以"全人教育理念"为指导培养学生完整的人格。
Tsinghua University has a unique position in the history of developing higher education. Presi- dents adhere to running school way of the personality education and vigorously promote liberal education, and it plays a significant role in Chinese academic independence and national resurgence. The tradition of studying Tsinghua's general education has an important reference to the university development. As a university presi- dent, the missions should be coupled with the university spirit. Universities should regard general education as a carrier and complete students' personality under the guidance of "the holistic education concept".
