摘要
能否准确熟练地用英语做presentation,这不仅反映了一个学者的EAP水平,也体现了其实际应用英语的能力。本研究通过对我校研究生做presentation的教学实践及课堂观察,发现其EAP特别是做presentation的水平有待提高;通过对教学进行反思,制定行动方案,优化教学内容,然后再进行课堂观察,结果发现硕士研究生做presentation的能力与其英语发音、口语以及专业英语的能力有很大的关系,硕士研究生在上述方面的能力亟待提高。
The skilful use of English to make presentations not only reflects a scholar' s level of EAP, but also mirrors his ac- tual competence to use the language. This study, by means of classroom practice and observation, carries out an investigation in which various problems in English presentations made by graduate students are found. After reflective thinking and doing an action research, we find that the graduate students' ability to make English presentations is closely related to their English pro- nunciation, oral English and professional English proficiency.
