艺术类高校英语教学现状及改革

The Situation of College English Teaching in Art Universities and the Reform Strategies

艺术类大学英语教学改革和实践一直是理论界关注的热点,但现行艺术大学英语教学中,依然面临着不少困境,如:艺术类大学生英语基础薄弱,学习动机不强;艺术类大学生学习英语积极性不高,学习策略意识缺乏;大学英语教师教学方式传统,对学生的考试评价机制不科学。基于此,在今后的英语教学过程中,可以从下面三个方面进行改进,一是引入戏剧教学法,调动学生的英语学习兴趣。二是充分运用多媒体与网络教学手段,创新教学过程。三是探索科学的评估方式,采用多元的评价考核制度。

Reform and practice of college English teaching in art universities have always been the hotspots of theoretical con- cern, but college English teaching in art universities is still facing many difficulties. For example, art students are weak in Eng- lish and motivation; students＇ interests in learning English are not strong; students are lacking awareness of learning strategies ; the teaching method is outdated and the exam evaluation system is unscientific. Based on these findings and aim to improve the English teaching process, three suggestions are proposed, namely： the introduction of drama teaching to arouse students＇ inter- ests in English; making full use of multimedia and network to innovate the teaching process; at last, exploring scientific ways of evaluation and adopting multiple evaluation systems.
