摘要
随着空中接口技术的快速发展,越来越多的终端能够工作于不同的接入网络中。多模终端在空闲模式下进行不同接入技术间的切换时,会产生严重的信令负载。该文提出一种基于接入概率的优化算法,终端通过保存不同网络的注册信息来扩展其驻留的位置区,接入概率的引入降低了切换概率从而减少信令负载。仿真结果显示,该算法比传统的切换算法有明显的性能提升。
With the rapid development of air interface technologies, there are increasingly user equipments (UEs) that can operate in more than one technology. The UEs produce heavy signaling load when they perform inter-RAT handovers in idle mode. In this paper, we propose an optimized algorithm based on access probability, UEs save the registration information of two RATs to extend the location area that they could stay. The introduction of access probability reduces signaling load by lowering handover probability. According to the simulation results, we obtain better performance than the original algorithm.
