根据特区经济发展与人才缺乏的特点 ,论述了图书馆与人才成长的意义 ,在培养人才中的作用 ,如何为人才成长做好服务工作。文章强调读者的需要是图书馆存在的价值。特区公共图书馆为科研服务与人才培养同等重要。特别提出馆不在大 ,特区政府应该为读者创造更多更好的读书环境和读书场所。

Based on the fact that special zones are highly economically developed but lack in talented personnel,this paper discusses the significance and functions of libraries in the growing and training of talented people,and the services special zone libraries should provide.The paper emphasizes that the value of libraries lies in the need of the readers.For public libraries in special zones,it is equally important to provide good service for scientific research and for the training of talented persons.Public libraries in special zones may not be necessarily large,but they must provide the readers a good environment and good facilities for readers.
