A review is given of the application of surfactants in chromatography. The surfactants have been extensively used in chromatographic analysis as mobile phase, stationary phase and sensitizer. This review summarized the applications of surfactant in chromatographic analysis of inorganic and organic compounds as well as Pharmaceuticals with 98 references cited.
