民办高校开展双语教学面临的问题与对策

On Problems and Countermeasures of Bilingual Education in Non-governmental Universities

随着世界经济全球化发展进程的加快，特别是在中国加入WTO以后，我国迫切需要既掌握专业知识，又掌握专业外语的高素质、复合型人才。近年来，教育部采取一系列措施，鼓励高校开展双语教学。许多高校都在进行双语教学的实践，一些民办高校也开始尝试实践双语教学，但面临着许多问题。本文就民办高校开展双语教学的一些问题，进行简要分析，并提出几点建议。

With the rapid development of process of economic globalization, especially with China＇s access to WTO, China needs a great number of talents with professional knowledge and foreign language. One of the goals of Chinese Higher Education is to train such kind of talents. In recent years, the Ministry of Education adopted a series of appropriate measures to encourage colleges and universities to carry out bilingual teaching. Many colleges and universities are conducting bilingual teaching. Some non-governmental universities have also begun bilingual education, but it faces many difficulties and problems. This paper states briefly the problems of implementing bilingual teaching in non-governmental universities, and then gives some personal suggestions on how to put forth bilingual teaching in such kind of universities.
