汉语言文学专业设立于近代，其教学内容和学科体系却渊源甚古，主要是培养具有文史功底和人文素质的综合性人才。新的历史时期，对该专业提出了新的要求，既必须加强实践教学环节，又必须结合该专业特点。西安翻译学院人文艺术学院对此作了广泛调研和有益的探索。

The major of Chinese Language and Teaching was set up as a college speciality in mordern times, which mainly brings up the comprehensive talents in literary history and humanity. Nowadays, it is required in a new era that the major should stress not only the practical teaching but also professional chararteristics.
