On Humanistic Quality and Personnel Training

人文素质是在一定社会制度和文化传统的影响之下，人们所形成的思想、格调、品质等综合素养。新时期需要复合型人才，而人文素质直接关系到综合型人才的综合素养、社会生活实践和专业学习，应该引起整个社会尤其是高等教育的高度重视。

Under certain social systems and cultural traditions, humanistic quality is formed in accordance with the comprehensive quality including people＇ s thoughts, tastes and qualities. New period calls for comprehensive talents, but humanistic quality concerns directly with integrated fostering of overall talent, practice of social life, and academic learning, which should be paid special attention to by the whole society, especially higher learning institutions.
