对英语专业泛读课改革的几点建议

Some Suggestions about the Reform of Extensive Reading Course of English Major

本文针对我国改革开放以来，在大学英语专业教材、教学方法、教学手段更新快，成绩显著的情况下，却在英语泛读课的现行教材中出现了诸如教学目标浮泛、文学体裁文章量偏少、科技文章相对显多、阅读材料趣味性差、练习设计过分精读化等问题，从而简述了改革大学英语专业泛读课的必要性，并提出一些相应的改革措施和建议。

In view of the fast replacement of college English teaching materials, teaching methodologies and teaching facilities, and gaining remarkable achievements？？ at the same time since our country＇ s adoption of reform and opening up, but opposite situation is that some problems, such as unrealistic teaching objectives, fewer literary articles, a lot of scientific and technical articles, uninteresting reading materials and overemphasis on copying the exercise types of intensive reading course etc. have arisen in existing teaching materials of extensive reading course of college English major. For this reason, this paper briefly discusses the necessity to reform the extensive reading course of college English major and meanwhile puts forward a few of correlative reform measures and proposals.
