Micro-blog has become new information and communication tools known and used by university teachers and students, which has an important significance of institutions of higher learning. In this paper, from the nature and function of micro-blog, the author analyzed the function of micm-blog in institutions of higher learning and proposed that the application of micro blog is of great Significance for the development and progress of institutions of higher education.
