信息化时代下文学作品的意义

On the significance of literary works in information era

近年来，由于科学技术的高速发展和经济全球化的极大促进，我们进入了竞争激烈的信息化时代。这个时代人们的生活节奏和工作压力巨大，越来越多的人不阅读文学，学习研究文学的人也越来越少。因此，一些人提出了“文学作品无用论”“文学没有实际意义”等。通过中外文学的对比来阐明文学作品无论在什么时代，都具有重要的社会意义，即认识作用、教育作用、经济作用和审美作用等，也表达了强烈反对文学作品商品化和“随意改编名著”的见解。

The rapid development of science and technology and the economic globalization have brought us into the information era full of furious competitions. With the quickening of life rhythms and the increasing of work pressure in this era, many people do not read literary works and few studies liter- ature. Some people have the thought that literature is of no use. As a result, by comparing Chinese lit- erature with the international literature, this paper expounds the idea that literary works have great social significance with the functions of cognition, education, economy and aesthetics. The paper also makes the proposal that random adaptation of literary masterpieces and commercialization of literature should be prohibited.
