Extraordinary devotion to an academic publication： reflection at the tenth anniversary of the establishment of Journal of Xi＇ an Eurasia University

《西安欧亚学院学报》创刊10周年，成绩斐然可观。从辛勤的耕耘者、编辑劳动兼备创造性、复杂性和学术性、精湛高超的针砭术来认识编辑劳动的价值；详细介绍了《西安欧亚学院学报》“八字”办刊流程；提出了学报编辑应该具备甘为人梯的敬业精神、高水准的理论素养、严谨的工作作风、扎实的文字基本功、熟练的编辑艺术水平等五种素质。

Since its establishment, Journal of Xi＇an Eurasia University has accomplished great a- chievements. This paper firstly studies the value of the journal＇ editors from three aspects ： 1 ） editors as painstaking workers, 2） editors＇ efforts as creativity with complexity and technicality, and 3 ） professional editorial spirit. And then, it describes in detail the＂ eight-Chinese-character＂ procedure for running the journal. Finally, the paper summarizes the requirements for a qualified editor of university journals ： 1 ） having the not-seeking-fame professionalism, 2） mastering theories about edition, 3 ） possessing a careful working style, 4 ） laying a solid foundation for word processing, and 5 ） mastering practical editing skills.
