中华文化五千年的发展有着明显的周期性规律,这一传统与我国近几十年来经济及综合国力的增强,共同构成了"中国梦"提出的远期文化背景和近期现实背景。从有文字记载的历史来看,21世纪初叶是中国文化第四次大整合的开端,也是民族自觉和自信在国家战略层面上得以表现的开端。实现"中国梦",必然包含当代中国文化的复兴和突破。认真研究中华文化第四次大整合,是我们必须面对的重要课题。

The Five-thousand-year Chinese Cultural development has a significant periodic order which, in recent decades, constitutes a background with the development of our economy and overall national power and recent reality for proposing the ＂China Dream＂. From the view of written history and current reality , the Initial Period of 21st century is at the very beginning of the fourth Chinese cultural integration. It also re- presents the beginning of national consciousness and self - confidence in performance at the national strategic level. To realize ＂China Dream＂, it necessarily includes the revival of breakthroughs. Therefore, to integrate the fourth Chinese cultural is a key contemporary Chinese culture and research topic that we must face.
