This paper respectively analyzed the city design scheme of Gaoping northwest land from project background, regional situation, plan- ning target and other aspects, and elaborated corresponding planning approach from planning structure, traffic system, landscape greening and other views, provided design basis for regional planning and design of small and medium-sized cities.
